PositionSummary
The Chart Deficiency Analyst is responsible for a nalyzing inpatient/outpatient patient records in Cerner Power Chart for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
Job Duties /Responsibilities- Monitors reports in Cerner to identify delinquent charts
- Identify patterns and trends in documentation and report to the appropriate department
- Provide education to providers on the timeliness and accuracy of documentation
- Communicate with physicians by all available means to facilitate completion of chart prior to delinquency date

- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Two (2) year's medical records experience working in a Behavioral Health setting preferred
- Cerner experience highly preferred
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology
- Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Abililty to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines and productivity
