Barge Washing Technician

Set up, operated, and disassembled barge-washing equipment safely.

Attach hosepipes to barge and hook up with crane properly.

Strip barge and clean it with high-pressure water blast.

Replace machine oil and filters and assist in barge-painting activities.

Individual will perform all aspects of barge washing work including prepare/check equipment, enter and exit barges, use washing equipment.

Utilize hand tools such as pressure washers or brushes to effectively clean the barges.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment that complies with environmental guidelines and policies.

Stay compliant with all regulatory bodies as it applies to the work that is being completed and with all safety rules and policies.

Utilize proper PPE while washing barges.

Must have experience.

Must pass drug screen and background check.
