Position Details

Title: HRBP

Position Type: Fulltime - Contract role

Duration: 12+ Months (possible extension or hire)

Location: Rayville, LA

As an HRBP, you will:

• Support the company’s mission and goals by aligning HR practices with business needs.
• Ensure managers follow company policies and comply with labor laws.
• Handle employee transactions (hiring, promotions, terminations) and maintain records.
• Advise managers on employee relations, investigations, performance issues, and terminations.
• Help resolve conflicts and recommend fair solutions.
• Analyze HR data to improve strategies and outcomes.
• Work with HR teams across the company to keep processes consistent.
• Review compensation recommendations and flag potential issues.
• May assist with union negotiations or contract administration.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2‑4 years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience.
• Understanding of change‑management practices and strategies to reduce risk.
• Experience handling employee‑relations issues and making sound judgment decisions.
• Strong problem‑analysis/solving, organization and time‑management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication/facilitation skills.
• Ability to work in a teaming/collaborative environment.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook.

• HR professional certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR)
• Experience with change‑management practices and risk‑reduction strategies
• Familiarity with compensation review and recommendations
• Experience with investigations, performance management, and progressive discipline
• Exposure to collective bargaining agreements or contract administration
• Strong facilitation and counseling skills for managers and employees

Pay Range*: Between $40 ‑ $43 per hour

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
