This job will be responsible for processing and supporting all payroll functions specifically relating to biweekly payrolls, leave plans, and timekeeping for all company employees. Maintains confidentiality in a professional and discretionary manner.

EducationRequired – High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred – Bachelor’s degree
Work ExperienceRequired – 5 years of Payroll experience
Preferred – Experience with payroll processing for large companies
Project management experience
CertificationsPreferred – Certified Payroll Professional

- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals.

- Good time management skills and self-directed.
- Good judgement and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively and professionally work with people from all backgrounds.

- Process payroll leave plans and maintain the auditing and updates pertaining to physician leave.
- Organize and develop testing plans with all payroll-related special projects (i.e. Lean Projects).
- Audit payroll processes such as additional pay and other uploads.
- Prepare and process payroll for all of the company.
- Enter all adjustments in Workday and Kronos systems.
- Create reporting for leadership.
- Advise employees on matters related to payroll policies and procedures, including clarifications on earnings, withholding and other deductions.
- Create and initiate transfer of direct deposit file and bank files.
- Other related duties as required.
- Remain knowledgeable on current federal, state and local laws, accreditation standards or regulatory agency requirements that apply to the assigned area of responsibility and ensure compliance with all such laws, regulations and standards.
- Maintain and comply with the Compliance & Privacy Program and Standards of Conduct, including the immediate reporting of any known or suspected unethical or questionable behaviors or conduct; patient/employee safety, patient privacy, and other compliance-related concerns.
