Payroll Specialist​/HR Assistant Time

Status: Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Performs payroll processing and duties related to the bi-weekly payroll processing according to established procedures including, but not limited to, making necessary adjustments to time edit reports, transmitting appropriate payroll information to the financial institution, and generating payroll reports.
• Provides assistance to the Human Resources Director in the day-to-day operations of the department including maintaining schedules, organizing data, maintaining employee personnel files and completing general clerical functions.

• Two year Associate degree in Accounting or Business related field required;
  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related field preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in Human Resources in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Three to five years of office experience required with preferred experience in data entry, general accounting functions, and/or payroll processing.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
• Computer experience required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines with attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA and EMTLA regulations as well as privacy of patient and employee information.
• Mandatory reporting certified or within six (6) months of hire.
• Must pass background check, physical, drug screen, and TB Test upon hire. Flu vaccine and COVID vaccine or religious/medical exemption are required.
