The City of New Orleans Police Department is seeking candidates for the Police Recruit position. Upon successful training, recruits are promoted to Police Officer with an annual entrance salary of $54,421.
After one year of qualified service, an additional $7,200 annual supplemental pay is provided. Educational incentive pay ranges up to $3,000 per year for graduate degrees, with $2,000 for a Bachelor's and $1,000 for an Associate's.
