Desk Side Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Desk Side Engineer for a Contract with a client in Geismar, LA
. The candidate must have strong hands‑on Windows
11 administration skills to manage device deployments and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.

Rate Range: $26/hour to $28/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Manage laptop/desktop deployment, imaging, configuration, and software distribution using SCCM, Intune, and enterprise imaging standards.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for Windows 11, O365 applications, Teams, VPN, Wi‑Fi, and end‑user software issues.
• Deliver VIP/executive-level white‑glove support, resolving hardware and application issues with high professionalism.
• Perform hands‑on hardware support including Dell/Surface devices, docks, monitors, peripherals, along with basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, patching).
• Support data center activities such as rack/stack, cabling, device movement, and asset handling as needed.
• Maintain strong ITSM discipline by updating, documenting, and closing tickets (Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge Management) and contributing to runbooks and SOPs.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in desk‑side/end‑user support roles.
• Strong proficiency in Windows 11 administration, device imaging, and deployment using SCCM/Intune.
• Proven ability to deliver VIP/Executive‑level white‑glove support and resolve complex hardware/software issues.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
