Systems Analyst, IT QA Tester / Automation, Data Analyst
Location: Central
We are looking for an experienced QA Manager to join a high-traffic, consumer-facing product in a fast-paced and collaborative engineering environment.
The project focuses on delivering new features and improvements on a regular release cadence, working closely with Product and Engineering teams across multiple locations, including the US and Europe. Quality plays a critical role in ensuring a reliable, scalable, and user-centric experience for millions of users.
In this role, you will have a strong impact on shaping QA practices, improving release confidence, and strengthening quality ownership across teams. You will work with modern engineering teams, influence processes, and help evolve testing strategy, reporting, and automation in a way that supports both speed and quality.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building, improving, and scaling quality practices in a dynamic product environment, while working closely with stakeholders and distributed teams.
Own and evolve the QA strategy and delivery process in a fast-paced, weekly release environment
Drive quality gates and risk-based testing for frequent releases and last-minute changes
Introduce and iterate on pragmatic QA processes, reporting, and metrics in an environment with little to no existing documentation
Lead and coordinate QA efforts across distributed teams and time zones (incl. LA / Europe)
Establish clear ownership, triage, and escalation flows for defects and release risks
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Stakeholders to balance speed, quality, and risk
Gradually improve test coverage and automation strategy with realistic, business-driven prioritization
Coach and guide team leads and engineers in quality ownership and testing mindset
Drive post-release analysis, incident reviews, and continuous improvement
Act as a change agent in an environment with varying levels of process maturity and readiness for change
7+ years in QA / Quality Engineering / Delivery roles, including leadership or management experience
Strong experience working in fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environments (frequent releases, changing scope, tight timelines)
Proven ability to build or fix QA processes in low-maturity or growing organizations
Experience leading QA in transformation or scale-up phases
Solid understanding of risk-based testing, release management, and quality metrics
Experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders across time zones
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to prioritize pragmatically and make trade-offs between speed, quality, and scope
Experience with test automation strategy (not necessarily hands-on coding, but owning direction and ROI)
High level of resilience, ownership, and accountability
Comfortable working with imperfect processes, incomplete documentation, and ambiguity
Experience with high-traffic / consumer-scale products
Background in mobile or consumer-facing platforms
