WARSIM Database Administrator Security Clearance

Position: WARSIM Database Administrator with Security Clearance
Location: Leesville

Valiant is looking for a WARSIM Database Administrator to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), Database Manager. Responsible for planning, developing, and executing constructive simulation training activities and scenarios.
* Develop, manage, and maintain the simulation database, using tools such as the Joint Training Data Services (JTDS).
* Develop, test, and evaluate new platforms against current platforms in WARSIM database.
* Enter all weapons and Force data; create operational graphics and overlays for the simulation systems.
* Develop and enter BLUFOR/OPFOR/Neutral force structure according to doctrinal standards.
* Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Active Secret preferred. EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma
* Must have Security+ certification and additional certifications to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification.
* Desired:
Associate degree in computer/information technology, or mathematics, or related field.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* 5+ years' military experience or 7+ years working in support of military operations, as a civilian.
* 1+ years' experience with WARSIM or other entity level combat simulation.
* Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows. In depth knowledge of military equipment, organization and capabilities.
* Must be able to travel unaccompanied to continental US and foreign locations.
* Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug screening. DESIRED

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience with large scale live, virtual, constructive exercises, ideally at a Combat Training Center or mission training complex.
* 2+ years' experience at a military battle simulation center.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, lifting, ascending, and descending stairs, climbing, extended sitting or standing, to various degrees.
