Grayson’s Data Services is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Mid-Level IT Technician to support our growing client base. This role requires a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 administration, networking fundamentals, cybersecurity best practices, and exceptional customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, Entra (Azure AD), SharePoint Online, Teams, and Intune.
- Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, wireless access points, and VPNs.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and security issues.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices.
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts generated by monitoring and management tools.
- Document support activities, network diagrams, procedures, and client environments.
- Participate in client onboarding, migrations, and technology deployments.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and meet service level objectives.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Minimum 5 years of professional IT support experience.
- Strong administration experience with Microsoft 365 (Minimum 5 years).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN/SASE technologies, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles including MFA, endpoint protection, phishing awareness, least-privilege access, and security best practices.
- Security alert triage experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-service oriented with strong people skills.

- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Security-minded and detail-oriented.
- Team player willing to mentor junior technicians.
