Role Overview
The Data Analytics Portfolio Manager is a key role responsible for helping the organization make smart, strategic decisions about analytics demand. This role blends project management, analytics product management, and program management to create structure around how analytics work is requested, evaluated, prioritized, tracked, and communicated.
What You Will Do- Own and evolve the analytics intake process
- Perform light scoping and demand assessment
- Facilitate prioritization and portfolio governance
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment
- Manage workflow and delivery coordination tools
- Support portfolio visibility and operational excellence
The ideal candidate brings the discipline of a strong project manager, the prioritization mindset of a product manager, and the cross-functional coordination skills of a program manager. They will manage work and communication across tools such as Open Text and Click Up, drive process consistency, surface risks and dependencies early, and continuously improve the way analytics demand is governed and delivered.
Requirements- Strong project, program, or portfolio management capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to bring structure to ambiguous requests and translate business needs into clear, actionable work items
- Strong prioritization and decision-support skills
- Experience managing intake, backlog, workflow, or portfolio processes in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Operational discipline and attention to detail
- Comfort working at both strategic and tactical levels
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen
- Healthcare experience required
- 4+ years of experience in project management, program management, product management, portfolio management, PMO, or a similar role in analytics, data, technology, or operational environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
- Experience with workflow and collaboration tools such as Click Up, Open Text, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Smartsheet, Service Now, or similar platforms strongly preferred
- Familiarity with analytics, reporting, dashboarding, or data delivery environments preferred
- Healthcare experience required
- 4+ years of experience in project management, program management, product management, portfolio management, PMO, or a similar role in analytics, data, technology, or operational environments
