As our next Server Administrator, you will be a key member of the Corporate IT team, responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing Johnson Electric’s enterprise server infrastructure across the Americas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain enterprise server infrastructure including Windows Servers, SQL, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
• Configure and optimize server performance for manufacturing applications.
• Design and support SQL clustering and high‑availability environments.
• Administer Hyper‑V environments, including patching, backups, and lifecycle management.
• Manage backup and recovery using Veeam.
• Ensure proper server permissions and access controls.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
• Collaborate with Global IT teams on infrastructure standards and best practices.
• Participate in internal and external system audits.
• Coordinate with external vendors for software licenses and support services.
• Provide 24x7 global infrastructure support as part of the IT team.
• Ensure compliance with TISAX, CMMC, IATF 16949, ISO
  9001, ISO
  14001, and ISO
  27001.
• Travel locally and internationally as required.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2017/2019/2022); familiarity with Server 2025 preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience with physical‑to‑cloud migrations (AWS, Azure).
• 2+ years of experience with server connectivity via Cisco switches, routers, WLAN, and firewalls.
• Cisco certification or working toward certification.
• Strong experience with Active Directory and Exchange in multi‑site environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Hyper‑V, Veeam, SCCM, and Zabbix.
• Experience supporting a 24x7 operational environment.
• IBM AS400 administration experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English;
  Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
