Location: New Orleans
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and optimize the data warehouse to facilitate reporting and analysis of enterprise data.
- Analyze source system data, building processes for data cleansing and proper categorization.
- Translate business processes into logical and physical models to support business requirements.
- Contribute to the data warehouse development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, ETL, database design & development, testing & validation.
- Design and build data structures, processes, and ensure the integrity and quality of data for analysis and reporting.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing queries and databases.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Maintain data dictionary & documentation.
- Maintain knowledge of current BI tools, methods, and best practices.
- Act as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on business systems projects.
- Determine and resolve problems with other systems analysts, programmers, and systems users.
- Maintain, develop, modify, and document processes according to general specifications and guidelines.
- Provide guidance to lower‑level team members.
- Consult with managerial and systems analysis personnel to clarify intent, identify problems, suggest changes, and determine extent of programming and coding required.
- Revise or direct revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Analyze, define, and document system requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls and outputs.
- Research and evaluate software and hardware to enhance and improve existing processes.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Senior Management.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Minimum Required Education, Experience & Knowledge- Bachelor’s degree; BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or similar preferred.
- At least six years of related experience and/or training with developed expertise in database administration, data architecture or data modeling.
- Experience with cloud data storage technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, AWS or similar.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Power Pivot, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.
- General database administration practices.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- Advanced SQL & database development skills.
- ETL design patterns & best practices experience (e.g., MS Integration Services, Informatica).
- SQL optimization methods & techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities on sizable projects.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel.
- Capability to lift/move/carry approximately 100 pounds if required; accommodations will be made without undue hardship.
