Location: New Orleans
highly responsible technical and supervisory work overseeing, coordinating, and participating in the activities of staff responsible for geographic information systems, enterprise gis administration, spatial data management, application development, and related information technology functions in support of swbno water, sewerage, and drainage infrastructure management. This classification is responsible for supervising gis personnel, ensuring the quality and integrity of geospatial data and systems, conducting technical research, recommending system enhancements, and supporting the organization's gis and asset management initiatives.
Work includes ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, maintaining enterprise gis infrastructure, and performing the more complex technical tasks related to gis operations and support.
* and* five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the support, design and/or implementation of geographic information database mapping systems (gis). One (1) year of this experience must have included team leadership, project coordination, or supervisory responsibility.

note: an esri technical certification or esri enterprise administration associate certification may substitute for one (1) year of the required non‑supervisory experience.
