Summary

IT Specialist, UX Practitioner positions are being filled through the Office of Personnel Management's Delegated Direct Hire Authority, open to all U.S. citizens. Selections will be processed as new appointments to the civil service; current civil service employees will receive new appointments. Veterans Preference and the "Rule of Many" do not apply.

Salary: $102,415 - $158,322 per year (GS 12‑13).

Work schedule:

Full‑time, with flextime and alternate work schedules available.

Duties

Applications will be placed in a pool and remain on file for selection as positions become available up to six months after the announcement closes.
Positions filled from this pool will involve artificial intelligence duties occupying the majority of the work performed.

Requirements

Designing responsive websites and applications (including prototyping and wire framing) using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Adobe Dreamweaver, Just In Mind , Balsamiq, Web Flow, Pega, Sketch, and/or Invision.
Planning and conducting user interviews and/or usability testing, and using data to inform design.
Knowledge and application of the User‑Centered Design process.

Specialized Experience – GS‑13

Leading teams to design responsive websites and web‑based applications using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, Adobe Dreamweaver, Just In Mind , Balsamiq, Web Flow, Pega, Sketch, and/or Invision.
Leading teams in planning and conducting user interviews and/or usability testing, and using data to inform design.
Knowledge and application of the User‑Centered Design process.
