THE ROLE
This role creates, manages, and maintains digital technical documentation, instructional videos, and AI-generated work instructions using Canvas and other digital tools. The role supports factory training, customer service documentation, field service technicians, and continuous improvement through high-quality digital learning resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Capture and edit video of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, repairs, assembly procedures, and service activities.

- Supplement installation, operation, maintenance, and service manuals with digital media and AI-generated documentation.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Support, and Training to identify documentation needs and maintain document control compliance.
- Recommend improvements to documentation processes using AI and digital technologies, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Salary: $50,000 – $60,000, depending on experience
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
- 401(k) with company match, plus profit sharing
- Paid time off
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with video recording and editing — the ability to capture clean footage and produce polished instructional video is central to this role.
- Strong computer and technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn new software and AI applications.
- Solid proofreading and editing skills — the AI software generates the first draft; this role reviews and cleans up the wording for accuracy and clarity.
- 2–4 years of experience in digital media, video production, technical documentation, training, or a related field.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate degree in Multimedia, Technical Communication, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field preferred. - Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus but not required — candidates from any industry with strong video and digital media skills are encouraged to apply.
