Aalis Management Consulting is seeking a Procurement Systems Support Specialist to support a Federal Agency's Regional Contracting Office in New Orleans, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting federal acquisition and e-Business systems utilized across Department of Defense procurement operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting DoD acquisition systems and providing technical assistance to contracting professionals. This role serves as a subject matter expert for procurement-related applications and will provide troubleshooting, training, and systems support to end users.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for DoD acquisition and e-Business systems.
- Troubleshoot issues related to System for Award Management (SAM), Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Electronic Data Access (EDA), and Electronic Procurement System (ePS).
- Coordinate with Tier 2 and Tier 3 support teams to resolve system issues.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and job aids.
- Deliver desk-side and virtual training to contracting personnel.
- Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
- Assist users with account management, system access, and technical inquiries.
- Prepare reports and communicate system updates to stakeholders.
- Support implementation of new acquisition technologies and enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of direct federal procurement systems support experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years supporting DoD e-Business or acquisition systems.
- Experience supporting SAM, PIEE, WAWF, EDA, and ePS.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Experience developing training materials and conducting end-user training.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- Experience supporting contracting organizations within the Department of Defense.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition lifecycle processes.
- Experience working with government help desk or enterprise systems support organizations.
