This role will be responsible for database administration, performance tuning, data integrity, application support, and systems integrations across critical business platforms. This position is ideal for a database professional who enjoys owning critical data systems, partnering with business and technical teams, and expanding into API integrations and modernization initiatives.

Title: Database Administrator
Location: New Orleans, LA (on-site)
Compensation: $80,000 - $115,000
Job Description:
- Administer and support enterprise SQL database environments
- Monitor database performance, security, and availability
- Optimize queries, indexes, and database configurations
- Troubleshoot data, application, and integration issues
- Support enterprise applications and business-critical systems
- Design, maintain, and document data integrations
- Partner with development teams on system enhancements
- Assist with modernization of legacy applications and databases
- Support data migration, transformation, and reporting initiatives
- Ensure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery readiness
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of SQL Server database administration experience
- Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
- Experience supporting enterprise business applications
- Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery strategies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- API development or integration experience
- Exposure to modern integration platforms and middleware
- Experience modernizing legacy technologies and applications
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
