Return-to- Representative

• Determine objective, quantifiable, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims
• Facilitate return-to-work and accommodation efforts through negotiation with clients, treatment providers, and claimants
• Complete accommodation and return-to-work documentation, notifications, and reporting
• Document client contact in claim notes according to Sedgwick CMS standards
• Adhere to medical and legal regulations and accreditation standards in written communication
• Contact employers to determine employment-area information, including training, education, physical demands, wages, benefits, and availability
• Ascertain physical tolerances, vocational skills, and essential job functions for employment positions
• Recommend necessary adaptive equipment
• Maintain regular client contact following placement and monitor case progress
• Contact involved individuals regarding case progress and suggest changes to plans
• Collaborate with team members to transition cases from medical case management into job placement
• Perform accommodation and return-to-work evaluation and work-adjustment tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

• HS Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Three (3) years of related experience including one (1) year of return-to-work or job accommodation experience, or three (3) years of claims management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Working knowledge of return-to-work or job accommodation procedures
• Good technical knowledge of claims management procedures
• Excellent oral and written communications, including presentation skills
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
• Analytical and interpretive skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
• Ability to handle work-related stress, multiple priorities, and deadlines
• Computer keyboarding ability
• Travel as required
