Billing Manager

Description

We are looking for an experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee legal billing operations in the Greater New Orleans area. This role involves managing the complete billing process, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and maintaining accuracy in all invoice-related tasks for a mid-sized firm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, a meticulous approach to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor E-billing process system based on attorney requests.

- Oversee client invoices using E-billing software.

- Submit electronic bills through E-billing platforms.

- Handle any invoice discrepancies or client questions.

- Respond to inquiries related to billing and resolve issues effectively.

- Communicate daily with attorneys, clients, and other departments to ensure smooth billing operations.

- Maintain compliance with legal billing standards and firm protocols.

Requirements

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

- Self-motivated and proactive.

- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.

- Experience with E-billing and other legal billing systems.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in legal billing or related functions.
