The role is ideal for a litigation-driven attorney seeking meaningful case responsibility, regular courtroom exposure, and long‑term advancement within a collaborative, trial-oriented practice.

• Managing complex civil defense matters from initial intake through final resolution
• Directing motion practice, overseeing written discovery and depositions, and maintaining overall case strategy
• Representing clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings as needed
• Communicating directly with domestic and international business clients and insurance representatives
• Partnering closely with senior litigators in a fast‑paced, team-centered environment

• 5+ years of substantive litigation experience
• Demonstrated strength in motion drafting, discovery oversight, and deposition practice
• Prior courtroom or trial exposure preferred
• Background in complex commercial defense, industrial‑related matters, transportation‑related claims, or insurance defense considered advantageous
• Active license to practice law in Louisiana
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a caseload while contributing to team objectives
