Ingram Marine Group is looking for a Logistics Intern who will play a crucial role in supporting our Logistics Department in Nashville, TN
. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with various logistics and billing tasks, ensuring smooth operations and accurate data management. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in logistics in the Marine Industry and develop your skills in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working on a training project that will culminate in value-add training documents for the organization
  • Assisting in handling billing, logistics, and system discrepancies by collaborating with internal and external customers (Accounting, Credit, Sales, Logistics, etc.).
  • Assisting our dispatch group with entering traffic in our system to make better decisions.
  • Supporting the investigation and resolution of billing discrepancies by communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Creatingdaily grain Bill of Ladings as per customer requests.
  • Updatingboat logs to ensure accurate barge data and assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Entering detailed data into internal systems, including escalations, barge unloads, barge loadings, reconsignments, tramp towing, transloads, and billing information.
  • Utilizinginformation from updated contracts to create new job numbers for accurate billing purposes.
  • Assisting in managing, troubleshooting, and creating customer Towline accounts.
  • Supporting department activities with regular and prompt attendance.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
