ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists the Purchasing Supervisor in the daily operation of the storeroom. Receives and places products in their assigned storeroom location in an organized manner. Checks items received against purchase orders to verify accuracy of the order. Rotates perishable stock so that all food items are fresh.

Issues and delivers products from the Storeroom to Departments. Check each item on the requisitions which may involve weighing, counting, verifying each item and checking them against specifications to verify accuracy and approvals for the order.

Conducts inventories as directed. Ensure all food, beverage and general merchandise items are listed on inventory lists.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

Participate in hotel/department meetings.

Perform any general tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.

Perform other duties as requested by manager or special guest requests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

** Support procurement operations:
** Assist with purchasing materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and procedures

** Process and verify deliveries:
** Accept all purchased products, ensuring accuracy by checking deliveries against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications

+  
** Fulfill requisitions:
** Issue and deliver items to departments as requested, maintaining appropriate stock levels and notifying supervisors of low or out-of-stock items

+  
** Process invoices:
** Receive and process invoices, verify accuracy, scan documents, and follow up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment

+  
** Assist with inventory tracking:
** Conduct routine inventories, input received merchandise into tracking systems, and report shortages or discrepancies
