Supply Chain Management Internship
Be part of the "Beschaffungsmanagement" team, where you will play a key role in holding together the threads of the global Mercedes-Benz CKD supply chain. CKD stands for "Completely Knocked Down," our secret to global presence: we source all parts and ensure they arrive on time at our international production sites, where they are assembled into a finished Mercedes-Benz.
You will actively shape the future of our global supply chain! You will work on strategic projects such as the development of delivery concepts and the optimization of our entire supply chain. Here, you will experience the perfect blend of strategic planning and operational proximity: we analyze global cost structures, drive efficiency, and are in daily contact with our suppliers and freight forwarders.
Are you interested in not just understanding logistics but actively shaping it? Do you want to gain practical experience, take on responsibility, and get real insights into an international environment?
If so, you are in the right place with us.
During your internship, you will be part of the team from the start and work on real issues. You will support us in both strategic projects and daily operations, take on your own tasks, and bring in your ideas. We will not leave you alone: you will receive intensive support, regular feedback, and the opportunity to develop yourself professionally and personally.
These challenges await you, among others:
- Contribution to various planning tasks in a dynamic project environment and insights into project management
- Independent handling of tasks and sub-projects, e.g., through data-based analyses to optimize our direct packer volumes
- Participation in the optimization of the holistic clearing process
- Support in operational tasks in the system, including data analysis and management
- Preparation of presentations and decision-making templates for management
The position can start in September 2026.
Qualifications:
- Degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Good analytical skills and the ability to understand complex relationships
- Team player with a desire to work together to achieve common goals
- Ideally, initial practical experience in logistics or supply chain management
- High willingness to learn and a positive, motivated attitude
