Our client is looking for a Procurement This position will start as a contract position, with the possibility of going longer-term and permanent. Competitive hourly rate ranging from $35 to $45, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from vendor identification and negotiation to contract management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Must have experience in government/municipal procurement
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
