Supply Chain Specialist

New Orleans, LA:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to support production operations by coordinating shipping and receiving activities, procurement, purchasing, and communication with customers and vendors. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient flow of materials and products while maintaining accurate inventory and documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Coordinate daily activities between shipping, receiving, procurement, purchasing, production, customers, and vendors.
• Monitor the movement of materials and products to ensure timely delivery and production support.
• Process purchase orders and track incoming materials to meet production schedules.
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status, delivery schedules, and material availability.
• Work closely with customers to provide updates on shipments, orders, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and supply chain documentation.
• Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies, receiving issues, and supplier concerns.
• Support inventory control efforts and ensure materials are available to meet operational demands.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve supply chain efficiency and workflow.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures while performing all assigned duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing required.
  
  Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ability to analyze data, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented production environment.

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
• Ability to work in both office and warehouse/production environments as needed.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements.
