Job Title

The Mercedes-Benz Cars Purchasing & Supplier Quality (MP) department is responsible not only for the purchase of production material with an annual purchasing volume in the double-digit billion range, but also for ensuring the quality and availability of the corresponding supplier parts. We in the supplier capacity management department are responsible for the overall assurance of supply capacities in new type, model care, and series projects.

The following challenges will come your way:
- Support in preparing the supply chain for series production to ensure the deliverability of components
- Cooperation with internal departments (planning, development, QM, logistics) and over 2,000 global suppliers
- Assistance in the creation of supplier information packages and the conduct of capacity inquiries
- Documentation of supplier feedback, follow-up of missing responses, and identification of supply risks
- Regular reporting on supplier capacities, prevention, and risks
- Independent creation of weekly reach reports for top management
- Preparation of internal reports and presentations (German/English) for project committees and management circles
- Updating and further development of the department's internal Power BI dashboard
- Preparation and documentation of weekly project meetings
- Support in the preparation and conduct of workshops
- Assistance in additional projects and special tasks
The activity can start in September 2026.
Qualifications- Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
- Secure German and English language skills in speech and writing
- Secure handling of MS-Office
- Commitment and team capability
- High willingness to commit and assertiveness
- Analytical mindset and strategic working method
