We are seeking a talented and driven Supply Chain Analyst to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain, this is a high-visibility role that will partner with Vessel Sales & Logistics, FP&A, Port Captains, and the Purchasing team to help maintain a best-in-class logistics model across all brands within the family of eight operating companies.

This position may be based in either our Paducah, KY or St. Rose, LA office.

Fuel

Procurement & Commodity Management
  • Deeply engaged in all facets of the procurement cycle for the entire enterprise's annual fuel and lube oil needs.
  • Monitor daily macroeconomic trends impacting the price of crude oil and its derivatives to execute favorable fuel pricing decisions.
  • Manage the value of fuel purchases by examining vessel capacity, usage rates, and fuel commodity prices.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Conduct pricing, trend, and cost analysis for corporate fuel, food, engine components, company vehicles, and service providers.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision‑making across the Procurement & Supply Chain function.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis for assigned projects and identify business and product trends. Use financial analysis to evaluate vendor proposals.
  • oversee the maintenance and accuracy of procurement and supply chain databases, ensuring data integrity.
  • Ability to create monthly, quarterly, and annual budget variance analysis reporting packages as well as additional ad hoc reports and slide decks as needed for leadership review.
Operational & Strategic Support
  • Work closely with departmental leadership and the Vice President to define cost reduction objectives, implement negotiation strategies, identify solutions to meet/exceed business objectives, and facilitate new/beneficial sourcing projects through the full project lifecycle while managing/mitigating risk.
  • Analyze purchase history to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize supplier relationships.
  • Provide analytical support during vendor contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Track vendor performance, including rebate tier progression and inventory reliability, through regular supplier performance reviews.
  • Identify continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive benchmarks, and commodity markets to guide purchasing strategies across all brands.
  • Leverage internal tools to identify potential supply chain risks, disruptions, and opportunities, and maintain market intelligence on key commodities and suppliers.
Collaboration & Professional Development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, vendors, and suppliers across the enterprise.
  • Perform on‑call rotation, ensuring coverage over holidays and weekends.
