We’re looking to hire a hard‑working Lead Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the plant in Geismar, LA. The role requires the proper and safe use of Service Master approved products, tools, procedures and equipment in an industrial setting. It also involves leadership duties such as quality control, team management, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

• Training & development

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas, ensuring they are well‑stocked with supplies
• Adhere to all safety, security, and quality standards established by the company and regulatory authorities
• Report to supervisor any repairs or problems
• Use proper PPE where required
• Lead the team, oversee and coordinate cleaning activities
• Enforce safety rules and ensure compliance with regulations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of janitorial experience, 1 year in a lead role
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Excellent stamina and physical health
• Hard worker with high attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Must have a TWIC card or be able to acquire one
