Floor Technician

FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME) –
Crothall Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

  LCMC Touro Infirmary – 1401 Foucher Street, New Orleans, LA 70115 (online applications only)
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time. Monday–Friday with rotating weekends. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirement:
  Some experience required.
• Pay Range: $15.00–$16.00 per hour

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor‑care equipment.

• Maintain knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor‑care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor‑care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
