Overview
Professional, supervisory administration, and advanced technical work as the Security Division Manager. Work includes overseeing investigations, reviewing investigation reports, development of security plans, security related grant application, and supervision of the Security Investigators.
Responsibilities- Oversee investigations and review investigation reports.

- Supervise the Security Investigators.
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or closely related field.*
- Five (5) years of professional administrative experience conducting administrative, security and/or criminal investigations; at least two (2) years of this experience must have been at a supervisory level.
Note: Additional supervisory experience over employees responsible for conducting administrative, security and/or criminal investigations may substitute for the Bachelor s Degree at the rate of one year of related experience equals one year of college credits. Applicants qualifying without a Bachelor s must have a High School Diploma or GED issued by a state department of education.*
Note: Pay above the minimum for superior qualifications may be granted under Civil Service Commission Rule IV Sec. 2.7 based on a review of the applicant pool, candidate s verified experience, education, and/or possession of related certifications.
Note: Domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application. Residency requirements are waived for all Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans positions vacant and advertised for at least 90 days. Employees hired under this waiver remain exempt from the city s residency requirement for the duration of their employment at the Sewerage and Water Board. (La R.S. 33:4076).

The examination is a written test to measure:
Basic Management Principles, Decision-Making and Organization, Interpersonal Skills, Written Communication, and Mathematics. This is an original entrance and promotional examination.

ACCREDITED COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES: Recognition by US Department of Education is considered for evaluating credentials.
