Compensation: $100,000 + Competitive Bonus Structure and Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time (FT)
Responsibilities- Oversee operations of the individual business through effective leadership, talent selection and development, ensuring the business meets or exceeds standards.
- Ensure every client family is presented with every option and that their experience with the business is of the highest quality, most professional and ethical service possible.
- Lead funeral operations in growing market share by building strong relationships with the community including community businesses and leaders.
- Provide the best personal service to our client families.
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, setting and achieving their goals.
- Own supplier and vendor relationships.
- Learn and be groomed by one of the very best Managing Partners for a future ownership stake in our firm.
- Manage the financial achievements of our profitable and growing business by analyzing revenues and expenses via the profit and loss statements.
- Select, develop, and coach talent to drive business growth.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations for funeral home operations.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to expand exposure in the community; ensure all business operation permits are current and requested on time.
- Prepare capital requests and expenditures.
- Inspect all facilities, grounds, and locations to ensure they meet standards.
- Perform other managerial duties as assigned.
- Willingness to learn.
- Self‑starter with problem‑resolution skills and minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 5 years of funeral home management experience.
- Preferably licensed funeral director and embalmer.
- Ability to analyze financial reports to determine actions necessary to maintain and/or improve performance.
- Drive to learn a new market and grow our businesses.
- Willingness to explore additional prospecting channels.
- Detail‑oriented and ability to work in a team setting.
- Demonstrates energy, energizes others, and consistently executes.
