Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Vice President of Operations will oversee end-to-end operations including supply chain, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, customer service, manufacturing, and operational planning. This role requires a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and has a proven ability to build high‑performing teams, improve operational efficiency, and drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company's long-term operational strategy to support continued growth and scalability.
  • Lead all aspects of supply chain, manufacturing, inventory management, fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and operational planning.
  • Optimize the end-to-end omni-channel order lifecycle across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels, including BOPIS, ship-from-store, store-to-home, EDI, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
  • Build scalable operational processes and governance models that improve accountability, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Partner closely with Finance and executive leadership to establish operational KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and forecasting tools.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, transportation strategy, inventory accuracy, and distribution performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing operations organization with clear performance expectations, career development, and succession planning.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by implementing standardized operating procedures, training programs, and effective communication strategies.
  • Create and maintain best-in-class customer service standards with measurable service-level agreements (SLAs) and customer feedback processes.
  • Manage the operations budget while identifying cost‑saving opportunities through process improvements, vendor negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strengthen operational controls related to inventory, procurement, order management, compliance, and vendor performance.
  • Develop and maintain a 12‑18 month operational roadmap with measurable milestones and regular executive reporting.
  • Monitor and improve key operational metrics including OTIF (On Time In Full), fill rates, inventory accuracy, logistics costs, order lead times, customer satisfaction, and operational quality.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations within consumer products, retail, or direct-to-consumer organizations.
  • Proven experience leading operations across omni-channel businesses, including retail, e-commerce, and wholesale.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain management, demand planning, inventory optimization, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, and third-party logistics.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing operational budgets, margin optimization, forecasting, and unit economics.
  • Demonstrated success building scalable operational systems and leading organizations through periods of rapid growth.
  • Experience implementing performance metrics, dashboards, and operational reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and talent development skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience working with premium, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
