We are looking for a Field Operations Supervisor to lead site-level operations, drive performance, and build high-performing teams. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about safety, quality, and operational excellence.

* What You’ll Do:

** This role is responsible for overseeing daily railcar repair operations while leading a skilled workforce and ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

On any given day, you will:
* Lead site operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity
* Conduct daily site walks to monitor work progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance
* Drive performance against key metrics including turnaround time, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction
* Manage staffing through recruitment, scheduling, training, and workforce planning
* Facilitate daily team huddles (toolbox talks) to align on safety and production goals
* Ensure accurate and timely repair tracking, reporting, and customer updates
* Monitor and report KPIs including productivity, turnaround, and cost metrics
* Participate in and support safety and quality audits
* Oversee billing accuracy and timely completion
* Support employee development, onboarding, and training initiatives
* Lead and reinforce continuous improvement and visual management practices

* What We’re Looking For:

** We’re seeking a strong, hands-on leader with a passion for safety, team development, and operational performance.
** Requirements:
*** High School diploma or equivalent
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience
* Strong knowledge of safety practices and quality standards
* Ability to manage teams, schedules, and production priorities
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience working with KPIs, reporting, and operational metrics
** Preferred:
*** Bachelor’s Degree or some college
* Experience in railcar repair, manufacturing, or industrial environments
* Background in multi-site or customer-facing operations
* Experience with continuous improvement methodologies
** Supervisory Responsibility:
*** Directly manages site employees and daily operations
* Responsible for hiring, training, performance management, and employee development
* Leads disciplinary actions and conflict resolution in accordance with company policies
** Work Environment:
*** Combination of field and office-based work
* Regular time spent in a railcar repair facility environment
* Exposure to industrial conditions (noise, weather, equipment movement)
* Physical activity including walking, climbing, and light lifting
