Meta is seeking a Facility Support Lead to join our Data Center Facility Operations (Fac Ops) team. Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our software operates to meet the demands of our customers. The Facility Support Lead oversees the business functions of the facility operations teams. The position's main functions are to provide vendor and supplier management, manage the campus facility operations' budget, liaise with partner teams, support business improvement processes and assessments, support compliance programs and implement business directives.
This role serves as a campus leader by driving strong team collaboration and operational excellence and by assisting local leadership in monitoring and managing organizational health. The successful candidate will possess data centre, corporate real-estate, or other critical infrastructure industry experience overseeing the management of third-party contracts and resources for maintenance and operations.
- 8+ years of experience working in large-scale facilities or critical infrastructure management
- Experience in budget development and management
- Experience in vendor and contract management
- Experience in communicating and presenting complex material effectively
- Experience in cross-functional, collaborative environments
- Experience with complex problem identification and resolution techniques, including causal analysis
- Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
