Wailuku Branch Branch Manager What You'll DoRunning a Smooth, Excellent Operation You'll oversee the day-to-day flow of branch operations, making sure everything runs efficiently, accurately, and in full compliance with Credit Union policies and regulations. From opening and closing the branch to processing and approving member loans, you'll be hands-on and solutions-focused - always looking for ways to improve productivity and deliver excellence.
Keeping Finances Accurate and Secure Integrity is everything in financial services, and you'll uphold it by maintaining strict cash controls, ensuring daily transactions are balanced, periodically verifying teller cash, and overseeing deposits - giving members and the organization the confidence that comes from knowing things are done right.
Leading and Developing Your Team with Compassion and Collaboration Your most important job is your people. You'll hire, train, schedule, and coach your branch staff - holding regular team meetings, conducting performance reviews, and creating real opportunities for growth. Whether you're orienting a new employee, providing leadership training to someone eyeing a management path, or simply rolling up your sleeves to help during a busy shift, you'll lead by example every single day.
Building Meaningful Member Relationships You'll ensure every member interaction reflects the Credit Union's commitment to compassionate, personalized service. From resolving complaints with care to counseling members on the financial products and services best suited to their needs, you'll be a trusted resource for the community we serve - helping members find their footing at every stage of their financial lives.
Keeping the Branch Running Behind the Scenes Great leadership also means sweating the details. You'll manage expenses, coordinate with Credit Union departments, maintain accurate payroll and attendance records, prepare activity reports, and make sure the branch is always well-supplied, well-maintained, and operating at its best.
