- Three years of experience in administrative services; OR
- Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR
- A bachelor's degree.
- EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties- Manages and monitors Office of Public Health property control and inventory activities statewide, providing technical assistance to Property Liaisons and ensuring compliance with State Property Control Regulations and LDH/OPH policies.
- Coordinates property audits, conducts on-site inspections, maintains accurate inventory records, and assists with resolving missing, misplaced, damaged, or improperly recorded property.
- Manages the disposition of surplus property by reviewing requests, obtaining required approvals, coordinating transfers and pickups, and ensuring proper documentation is maintained.
- Develops and delivers statewide training and guidance on property management, inventory control, property disposal, and applicable state regulations and agency policies.
- Administers OPH telecommunications services by coordinating the ordering, installation, movement, and disconnection of telephone and data lines and resolving service issues for statewide offices and facilities.
- Provides administrative and operational support to the Operations, Support Services, & Safety Section, including records management, reporting, maintaining accurate documentation, and recommending improvements to administrative processes.
- Participates in emergency operations, disaster response activities, drills, and required training, including serving on the Logistics Team when the Emergency Operations Center is activated.
