Medical Director, Nephrology Transplant

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of four transplant nephrologists.
• Collaborate closely with a surgical team of ten transplant surgeons and advanced practice provider team.
• Drive strategic direction, support program development, and mentor the next generation of transplant providers.
• Shape team structure, optimize operations, and build upon the program’s regional and national presence.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for growth, including expanding clinical volume, enhancing access, advancing innovation in care delivery, and elevating outcomes and patient experience.

• Board certified or board eligible in Transplant Nephrology.
• Strong leadership and clinical experience in kidney transplantation programs.
• Experience working with a multidisciplinary transplant team and outcomes‑improvement initiatives.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑performing, nationally recognized program.
