Position Summary

As the Environmental Services Manager, you will represent Service Master ECS in overseeing all environmental services operations at the hospital and adjoining Medical Office Buildings (MOBs). You’ll be responsible for managing staff, implementing training and quality assurance programs, performing EVS duties when needed, and ensuring compliance with both our company’s standards and the hospital’s expectations. This role requires professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Education & Training Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience (required)

• In-depth knowledge of environmental services procedure sand regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including interviewing and hiring

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee shift-specific operations
• Interview, hire, and onboard Environmental Services staff
• Perform EVS duties as needed to support team and uphold standards
• Evaluate performance and provide training and corrective actions
• Conduct in-service training on safety, infection prevention, and departmental policies
• Implement new or revised programs and services
• Maintain strong communication with hospital leadership and Service Master ECS leadership
• Provide operational support and problem-solving

Physical Requirements

• Activities may include: climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion
• Must possess good balance and coordination
• Capable of medium-to-heavy work: exerting up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Requires close visual acuity for tasks such as data analysis, transcription, and computer use
• May require visual acuity for inspecting facilities and ensuring work accuracy

• Regular contact with hospital physicians, patients, and visitors
