* Summary:

** These operators are setting up and operating the CNC machines proficiently and editing a CNC program for proper function.
*
* Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Interpret advance engineering drawings, understanding design requirement including datums, critical dimensions and tolerances.
* Sets up CNC machining and / or turning centers to achieve required specifications.
* Effectively program, setup, & operate multiple CNC machines producing high quality parts.
* Monitor parts to ensure adherence to drawings and within tolerances.
* Shape, sharpen, set cutter & adjust tools to achieve desired print tolerance.
* Knowledge & ability to setup bore gauges & other measuring equipment.
* Complete all required paperwork, including labor reporting & documentation of quality control & material movement.
* Continually on the move, prepping / moving heavy parts.
* Being a reliable and punctual team member.

* Basic Qualifications:

*** Advanced blueprint reading, mathematical and technical skills.
* Ability to use standard tooling such as, micrometers, calipers, height gages, etc.
* Basic knowledge of boring bars, drills and other required tooling used to run a CNC machine.
* Frequent lifting / carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds.  Lifting devices are available and recommended.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** 1 year experience beneficial.
* Ability to read blueprints, understanding tolerances.
* Basic knowledge of different material types is beneficial.
