A leading sugar refining company in Louisiana is looking for a Packaging Supervisor to manage production operations on shift. This role entails directing teams of specialized union employees, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and meeting production targets. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an industrial food manufacturing environment, particularly in supervising union employees.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices is essential, along with strong communication and leadership skills. This position supervises approximately 80 hourly employees.
