Operations Engineer

Job Summary
Detail-oriented and organized Maintenance Planner to support our maintenance operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient tracking, reporting, and coordination of maintenance activities through computerized systems (Maximo) and manual processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing work orders, preventative maintenance/scheduling, and vendor coordination.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the Southern Region.
- Continuous improvement of the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, I&E, and Process Safety Management to develop and maintain job plans.
- Coordinate Work Order management and tracking. Create, issue, and close work orders for maintenance tasks.
- Input data from completed maintenance tasks into Maximo accurately.
- Develop and distribute maintenance reports as requested.
- Ensure documentation complies with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Tracks multiple data streams for metric measurements and analysis reviews.
- Performs investigations and moderately complex analyses statistical, trend, root cause, etc.
- Manages file structure and control of documents in multiple record management systems for the business unit.
- Responsible for process flow documentation, preparing countermeasure worksheets to improve process design, identifying waste, adding pre-specifications and embedded tests to continuously improve departmental processes.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent OR Bachelor’s degree
- 3-years of job-related experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience in a maintenance or industrial environment
- Experience with Maximo CMMS platform
- Experience with Document Control
Other Requirements
- Thorough computer skills:
Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project, Access, Excel). - Demonstrated experience creating pivot tables, charts, graphs etc. in Excel.
- Knowledge of construction/operations business culture.
- Experience creating presentations/organization charts.
