Production Line Associate Job Description
The Production Line Associate role is vital for ensuring the efficient operation of the production line, aligning with company goals related to production, budget, quality, safety, and waste management. Under the general supervision of the Production Manager, the candidate must maintain focus on their surroundings while working at a consistent pace on a moving production line. Adaptability to different tasks, maintaining a clean workspace, and adhering to safety and Good Manufacturing guidelines are essential.
Teamwork is crucial to meet production quality and quantity standards, reducing waste, and minimizing downtime.
- Set up production lines, manage product changeovers, and adjust package sizes.
- Operate processing, filling, and packaging equipment effectively.
- Conduct quality inspections of products, including visual checks of raw materials, packaging, and seals.
- Monitor line team activities to ensure effective operation and meet production needs.
- Process inventory control transactions using SAP and complete necessary paperwork.
- Perform allergen clean‑up and daily housekeeping tasks in the work area.
- Assist in training employees on equipment operation and company processes.
- Support and develop team members, demonstrating reliability and dedication.
- Experience in industrial or production environments.
- Ability to read and write clearly and effectively.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capability to work 12-hour shifts while remaining attentive to machinery.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with warehouse production, loading, and packing.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with SAP for inventory transactions.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is indoors, air‑conditioned, and clean, with the scent of seasonings due to food manufacturing processes. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to meet safety standards.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Orleans, LA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
