Operator & Maintenance Level 2 White Castle

Description

Hourly Non-Exempt Position. Company:
Texas Brine Company, LLC (White Castle).

• Examines equipment parts to detect imperfections.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.
• Starts devices to test their performance.
• Initiate purchase order for parts and machines.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
• Must comply with the work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested, and completing work orders per instruction.
• Will have to identify items and parts to be ordered.
• Operate forklift and related equipment.
• Perform any job assigned by the supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 5 years of related experience and/or training
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.
• Basic algebra and geometry

• The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, handle, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Vision abilities required such as: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

• Must be able to complete and pass pre-employment checks to include, but not limited to, background, drug, references, and education.
