Acuren Inspection is now hiring a hardworking, dependable Painter to work on a project basis starting as soon as possible. The Technician will carry out duties in a safe and timely manner as assigned by the Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Have comprehensive knowledge of painting/blasting
- Assist other technicians as required
- Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
- Other work duties as assigned
- Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques, and curing processes
- Experience with paint and industrial equipment
- Experience using a wet paint gun, hand and power tools, and other painting equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings
- Ability to read and use coating thickness gauges, surface profile gauges, dew point meters, soluble salt testers, and hardness or ultrasonic thickness gauges
- Previous pipeline experience preferred
- NCCER Painter certification is a plus
- NACE certification is a plus
