Job Overview
Location: Allison, IA
Starting Pay: $17 - $24 /hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-time (1st or 2nd Shift)

Responsibilities- Painting and coating surfaces
- Prepare Paints – Industrial painters prepare paint for jobs. They use measurement equipment such as viscosity cups, thickness gauges, and gloss gauges to check the makeup of the paint and apply their understanding of chemistry to mix the appropriate compounds.
- Apply Paint – Painters use a variety of techniques and tools to paint surfaces, selecting the best equipment (spray equipment, rollers, brushes) for each job. They paint on primers, pre‑finishes, and finishing coats. Some use special equipment such as self‑contained suits or protective wear.
- Clean Work Areas – Industrial painters clean up the area after completion, carefully following guidelines for safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste.
