We’re looking for Mechanical Planners to join Day & Zimmermann on site located in Killona, LA.
Key Skills- Thorough understanding of Microsoft software
- Ability to work independently, use problem‑solving judgment, and organize and prioritize work assignments
- Professional conduct and diplomacy, maintaining confidentiality when necessary
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
- Full knowledge of the planning requirements within the nuclear industry (e.g., reference material, processes, and procedures) and experience planning or the ability to quickly start planning within the client’s work management system
- Develop comprehensive work packages within the client’s work management system (Maximo)
- Support field operations on tagging/clearance requirements
- Interface with field operations on the development of estimates, schedules, and resource loading
- Assist in material procurement and material receipt inspection
- Perform real and virtual walkthroughs with field operations
- High school diploma required; some college or post‑secondary education preferred
- 5 to 10 years of applicable experience or a BS Degree in Engineering, plus 3 years of field planning experience
- Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education
- MAXIMO planning experience
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $98,800 – $158,080. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
