POSITION SUMMARY
The Blaster/Painter is responsible for performing labor tasks utilizing blasting equipment in preparing company products for painting/coating and preparing/mixing paints, as well as applying to the product per customer specification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform pre-inspection on any blasting or painting equipment before operating
- Prepare equipment, materials and area around before starting blasting or painting activities
- Blast or paint according to customer specifications
- Keep paint, blasting and other tools in good working order
- Inspect all equipment used, perform minor repairs and clean equipment as well as the work area
- Obey and follow all safety rules and policies
- Wear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)
- Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- 1+ year of blasting/painting experience in an industrial setting
- Basic written and verbal skills
- Ability to perform work accurately
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
