Materials Clerk

Job Purpose

The Materials Clerk will support production operations by maintaining organized inventory and warehouse operations in Webster, TX. The primary focus is moving materials, managing inventory transactions in the ERP system, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to production jobs.

• Issue parts from inventory to jobs and pull parts for job kits and subassemblies
• Put away received parts
• Audit job buckets
• Return unused parts to inventory and ensure proper transactions in ERP
• Conduct cycle counts with the materials group
• Research and resolve inventory or job discrepancies
• Scan packing slips, job folders, and related documentation to the server
• Assist with tracking and following up on late parts for jobs
• Support production technicians with material requests and inventory needs
• Ensure all inventory transactions are completed correctly within the ERP system
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse
• Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including trash and recycling removal
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year of prior experience preferred
• Forklift certification required

• Ability to read a tape measure and operate basic shop tools (nail gun, chop saw)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing, and handling materials throughout the workday
