- Pay range $18 - $21 per hour (based on experience)
- 1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Walk‑In Interview:
Wednesday 11:00 am – 4:00 pm, walk‑ins welcome - Location:
101 W South St, Monticello, IA 52310
- Check, shuttle, move, and perform all essential functions of the Loader.
- Load trucks, place parts on trailers in a safe hauling manner in accordance with manufacturing procedures to ensure the product does not get damaged during shipment.
- Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading.
- Package parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required.
- Responsible for each lift and determines when to check actual vs. maximum allowable trailer load.
- Check each load being made to assure that the job is complete.
- Must expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules.
- Unload and check items against freight bills, packing lists, or shipping notices and make notations of damages, shortages, and other irregularities and notify Team Leader.
- Give on‑the‑job direction to new shipping/warehouse employees and/or others assisting in shipping/warehouse.
- Must be able to load/unload transfer trucks and load multi‑drop route trucks.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
- Maintain continuous improvement practices in the work area.
- May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a high production manufacturing environment.
- Be willing to cross‑train and be promo table.
- Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
